Hi, good morning. I have windows 7 professional and when I try to open the downloaded file it says "The update is not applicable to the computer". I downloaded the file according to my architecture (64 bits), that is to say that the problem is not that I have downloaded the file incorrectly, I do not know why it does not allow me to update it and I cannot get rid of the error 80072EFE. Please I hope you can help me, thank you very much in advance
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue, I'll keep searching for fixes I guess. One thing that sucks is Microsoft seems to have purged a ton of their old software from their servers recently.

ReplyDeleteThis might be a flash line or cable outage, but it could also be a warning sign that a malicious root packet is interfering with your internet connection. However, third-party firewalls or antivirus programs that overprotect by watching your data transfers can also be the root of this issue. Corrupt Windows files that are in charge of updating your operating system could also be to blame.
ReplyDeleteNote: The issue is server-side or a flawed network location if you experience Error 80072EFE while updating the operating system on Windows phones like the Nokia Lumia. Regardless, give it a few hours and check to see if the update can be finished. If the problem continues, use a VPN or proxy app and check your internet connection.
